
President Director
Tom has practised as a lawyer, investment banker, business executive and consultant for more than thirty years, and has lived in Indonesia since 1991. A graduate of Northwestern Law, he has structured and executed complex cross-border transactions across Indonesian resources and capital markets, including the purchase and resale of Berau Coal, the acquisition of F.C. Internazionale by an Indonesian consortium, and the sale of Bank Niaga by the Indonesian government, alongside numerous domestic and international share and bond issues. He is one of Indonesia’s leading experts in real-world asset tokenization, and leads the firm’s investor structuring, capital raising and financial engineering. Partner since 2015.

Director, energy and sustainability
Bret is an earth scientist and economist trained in Australia, Canada and the United States, with more than thirty years in global energy and resources. He was CEO of Star Energy, operator of the Wayang Windu geothermal field in West Java, for seven years, and has worked on natural gas and renewable energy projects across the region, including alongside Pertamina. Before that he was Exploration Manager at Shell International in The Hague, Vice President at BHP Billiton, a Director of North West Shelf Gas and Vice President at Australian LNG. He holds a forestry management diploma from Michigan State University and a certification in biochar business development, is currently Senior Advisor on power generation at PT Pertamina (Persero), Chairman of the Association of Low Carbon Businesses in Indonesia, and Secretary of the Yayasan Tunas Hijau Lestari conservation foundation. He leads the firm’s energy and sustainability work. Partner since 2017.

Director, real estate
Luke leads real estate project development, marketing and management, and property acquisitions and disposals. He has twenty years in the industry including as a Director at JLL, Procon Indah and Duta Anggada Group, and has worked both sides of it: agency services and development. He advised BPPN, the Indonesian bank restructuring agency, and built the asset management monitoring system used to oversee the largest portfolio of property ever handled by a single body in Indonesia. He advises villa and resort developers and leads the firm’s real estate and hospitality work. Partner since 2019.

Director, technology and delivery
Andrew has worked in Indonesia for twenty years: as a commercial photographer, publisher, as the owner of creative agencies, and for the past five years as a real estate professional with Harcourts in Bali.
At Numada he leads technology and runs project management and delivery. He brings a background in IT project management and develops automation software that takes the manual work out of how the firm and its clients operate.
